Bill Martin, General Manager, Mentor Graphics IP Divsion, is presenting on Silicon Subsystems: How to Develop SoCs Faster and With Lower Risk

Abstract

Over the past year, companies have written articles and announced products/services for subsystems, a subsystem is comprised of various IP blocks (digital controller, PHY and software driver). By using proven/certified subsystems, the intention is to remove integration issues (digital, analog and software), improve data throughput and lower schedule risks facing development teams today. The panel will discuss what subsystems are and how they help successful SoC development.
